Premise Russian doll not for the faint of heart, as Nadia is involved in it (Natasha Lyonne) is stuck in a time loop that started around the time of her birthday. Forced to relive the same day over and over until she finally knew what she was supposed to do, the character gradually lost control of reality as he always returned to the same place after death in the most unexpected way. Luckily for her, every time the loop was reset, she always ran into her friend Maxine (Greta Lee), who was always there to congratulate her on the party.

In a recent interview with Collider magazine Perry NemiroffLee described several times what it was like to shoot this line, saying, “At first I turned down this job because I thought there wasn’t a single actor in their right mind who was willing to take on how to do their job well on delivery. the same line over and over. I thought no one could come out of it and feel like they were close to making it. And I even suggested that we just shoot it once and we just use that take. then when I said, “Okay, I’m in,” and I couldn’t say no to this group. Natasha and I are going back.” She went on to explain:

“We filmed a pilot for NBC, which was actually kind of the beginning of Russian Doll, many years ago. And, of course, Leslie Headland and Amy Poehler, these incredible women, so I said yes, and then they politely and softly said, “No, absolutely not. We’re not going to use the same take over and over.” So I don’t know, I think it was about 50 times. I mean, I’m trying to think. There were 10 episodes, I said it several times. It happened many times.”

Because each time Nadia returned it was in a different context, Lee couldn’t get away from shooting one take for a line before moving on, as the interaction with the main character was completely different every time the cycle decided to send her to a party. In the end, Nadia realized that Alan (Charlie Barnett) is also stuck in a time loop, and the couple is able to get to know each other better through their unusual shared experiences. The only bad thing that could come out of this friendship was that Nadia and Alan had very different views on their lives, which led to their constant disagreements.

In the end, they manage to work out their differences, and this story is so fond of them. Netflix decided to renew the series for a second season. In the second part, Nadia discovers a wormhole that allows her to travel to 1982, only to realize that she is stuck in her mother’s house that year (Chole Sevigny) body while she is still pregnant with her past self. Now Nadia must right some of the mistakes her family made in the past when she tried to warn Alan about the wormhole in the middle of the train station.

The journey of Greta Lee Through the universes of spiders

In addition to being the best friend stuck in a time loop, Greta Lee starred in one of the most popular films of this summer. Voiced by LYLA, Miguel O’Hara (Oscar Isaac) digital assistant, Lee creates a confident character with a lot of knowledge about how the multiverse works. She is responsible for keeping Miguel in touch with the rest of the Spider Society, tracking the Spot (Jason Schwartzman) and help Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) with her duties as one of the group’s newest agents. With such a trusted ally at Miguel’s side, the multiverse remained safe for years until Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) changed it with his journey.
