• Jesse Eisenberg admits he really wants to return for a third installment Now you see me franchise, as popcorn thrillers offer the actor a refreshing change of pace.
  • Eisenberg believes that playing J. Daniel Atlas in the Now You See Me films allows him to gain the confidence and arrogance that he lacks in his own work, which is a welcome change for him.
  • These films are like a cleanser for Eisenberg, allowing him to feel at ease and comfortable as a performer, thereby reducing his anxiety and allowing him to enjoy the experience.

Jesse Eisenberg always came across as a true actor - a character-oriented performer who was looking for serious work. And yet, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, Eisenberg admitted that he is counting down the days until the third part of the book. Now you see me franchise in which he plays one of a group of thieves who are also illusionists and magicians. The series is popular, fun and frothy, and has done well at the box office to date.

Conversation with Collider Chase Hutchison promoting his latest work, ManodromeAcademy Award-nominated star of the series Social network told Hutchison that his work on Now you see me movies were something of a cleanser and relief for the actor, who noted that he didn’t like chasing “method acting” in his work, but surprisingly, popcorn thrillers were something he was “desperate” for come back because of the role he plays. Eisenberg leads the series’ ensemble as J. Daniel Atlas, known for his skills in sleight of hand and stage magic, as well as his abilities as a thief.

“I found out that I don’t like to actively follow what you would call the “working method.” this is where you almost perceive the circumstances as reality,” Eisenberg explained. “I find that not many actors or some do it in a kind of performative way, but in a way that doesn’t feel very real. For me, filming these films Now you see me More than anything, I go this far to feel like a character, because I am a real performer, like my work, and the character is a performer.”

When will Now You See Me 3 be released?

However, Eisenberg has a certain connection he associates with the films - and with his character J. Daniel Atlas - that takes him out of his comfort zone. Showing that he lacks self-belief and confidence in his work, Playing the role of a talented magician allows him to truly gain self-confidence.or even arrogance, which he does not manage in any other projects.

“However, the character is a very confident actor and I am a very insecure actor with self-doubt. I don’t watch any of the films I’ve been in, I try to avoid still frames in films. “I don’t want to see myself because I’m just burdened with my own anxieties about myself. So becoming an artist who feels good and actually being on set where I’m performing is the best method I’ve felt. I almost walk around arrogant on this set.”

Elaborating, Eisenberg spoke about his love for films, describing them as allowing him to “get off his antidepressants” because they are an antidote to his day job. He continued enthusiastically: “That’s why I love love There are so many and I’m so desperate to make a third one. It’s like the only time I could lower my antidepressant dosage because I feel so at ease and comfortable with myself as an actor because that’s what the character is. So in a way, the way I would describe acting would be almost the opposite: the character makes you feel something about yourself.”
