One month left before the remake of the Disney action movie. Peter Pan and Wendy, a retelling of a classic fairy tale. History beyond time J. M. Barry shows the lost boy Peter from the magical island, who could fly and never grow old. When he meets a young woman and her two brothers, they travel to Neverland and come face to face with the fearsome Captain Hook.
While we’ve had a few glimpses of what’s to come, the studio has released new posters for all of the characters. The new posters give us our first good look at the ferocious Peter Pan mesmerizing Wendy while Jude Law he looks like he’s completely taken over Captain Hook’s shoes. We also get a good look at the new Tinker Bell, as well as Smee, Tiger Lily, and Darling siblings John and Michael. The movie also seems to feature the Lost Boys as we see Curly, Nibs, Slightly, Tootles, Bellweather, Birdie and the twins getting their own posters. The film feels timeless, and fans of dreamy romances have expected it to be so.
What to expect from Peter Pan and Wendy?
Film director David Lowry, Peter Pan and Wendy introduces Wendy Darling, a young girl who is afraid to leave her childhood home, who meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. She travels to the magical world of Neverland with Peter, her brothers, and the tiny fairy Tinker Bell. There she meets the dreaded pirate Captain Hook and embarks on an exciting and dangerous adventure that will change her life forever.
The previously revealed trailer showed off the much-anticipated moments from Peter Pan, with Peter meeting the Darling siblings for the first time and Wendy wielding a sword. The feature looks cinematically enjoyable and promises to update the story for modern times with an expanded role for Wendy. Lowe revealed at D23 last year that his Captain Hook has a backstory of his own.
The film starred Lo, Alexander Moloney, Ever Anderson, Yara Shahidi, Alyssa Wapanatahk, Joshua Pickering, Jacoby Jupe, Molly Parker, Alan TudykAnd Jim Gaffigan.
