The Russo brothers’ spy drama that travels the world Citadel ramps up marketing before release. Interesting new facts about the show have finally come out to give fans an idea of what to expect. The film boasts a huge budget and an amazing all-star cast led by Priyanka Chopra Jonas And Richard Madden, the audience is looking forward to dynamic action and an exciting adventure. To further tease the fans, the streamer posted new pictures with the stars.
In Chopra’s film, Jonas and Madden are presented as spies whose memories have been erased. In the new images, the actors in familiar costumes from the trailer hint at a time when their memories weren’t erased. In the first image, they strike a strong pose, while the other hints at their past as they stare into each other’s eyes. With an interesting premise and sizzling chemistry between the main characters, the series turns into a compelling journey through the world that is well worth following.
What to expect from Citadel?
The series, which already claims to be one of the most expensive series ever made, is touted as a mix of sci-fi, action and spy thriller genres and dives into the crumbling independent spy organization The Citadel, which is loyal to no government. Chopra Jonas and Madden play agents Singh and Kane, respectively, who previously worked for the Citadel in a past life until they are brought back for a new mission with the world at stake. Previously released trailers show their former colleague Bernard Orlik returning to them to remind them of times that have been erased from their heads.
From hiding a secret teaser in the first images to an action-packed teaser, the creator leaves no stone unturned to keep fans of the genre excited about the new feature. The series was originally helmed by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, but after many creative changes and budget increases. David Weil (Mining, cherry) was brought in to serve as showrunner. The series will be the basis for an Indian and Italian spin-off.
In the series, Madden plays Mason Kane, Chopra-Jonas plays Nadia Khan. Stanley Tucci like Bernard Orlik, Leslie Manville like Dahlia Archer Axis Ikhile like Carter Spence Ashley Cummings like Abby Conroy Roland Möller like Anders Silje, Kaoylynn Springall like Hendrix Conroy and Davik Silje. Applebaum and Nemec are still credited as executive producers through Midnight Radio along with Jeff Pinkner, Scott Rosenberg, Russo, Weil and others.
