11 years before the events of Night Agent

Like him and his father Pete (Sebastien Roberts) are playing basketball outside their house, a group of FBI agents arrive with a warrant to seize Pete’s hard drives and other electronics. Pete complies, telling his son to calm down and hand over his phone, explaining that they are all on the same side. As Diane takes them to Camp David, she finally tells Peter about the subway explosion. Well, what’s more, she wasn’t involved in the affair until after it happened, justifying her role in covering it up, thinking she was keeping Travers and the country safe. In her explanation, she also reveals that Rose’s aunt and uncle were killed after meeting with Zadar (under orders from the president to investigate the bombing). Vic, Redfield, and Diane thought the Campbells had told Zadar that he was the target, so they needed to be taken care of in order to continue with their plan. As Diane continues to talk about the specifics of Wick and Redfield’s plan and why they chose the explosives, including what they need to have in reserve for Camp David, Peter finally figures out why he was chosen for the Night Action program. who got him into it all. begin with. After the allegations against his father, Peter was chosen as the scapegoat if they ever needed to put the blame on someone else.

Meanwhile, in a helicopter with Vice President Redfield, Chelsea begins interrogating one of the two new guys. She notices that they both brought large suitcases with them, but when she points to them, they fall silent. Meanwhile, Redfield is engrossed in a conversation with Briggs (Toby Levins), who is in charge of the Secret Service and is apparently involved in the plan to assassinate Zadar and Travers. Upon landing, Maddie and Chelsea separate. One of the men she interrogated takes Chelsea to a room where he tells her to sit down and just watches her, preventing her from contacting anyone or even using the restroom. Redfield tells Maddie that the president would like to speak to her alone, though he takes her to a secure underground bunker with a Secret Service agent, where he plans to stay with Maddie until the attack is over and he can rise from the ashes as the new president. He explains his relationship with Zadar, the terrorist, to Maddie, telling her that Travers is too weak to lead the nation. He then apologizes for how he blamed Maddie for her sister Sarah’s death, finally taking responsibility for his own failures. Will this prevent Maddie from following Chelsea’s plan? The answer is no, as Maddie tries to convince her father to stop his plan, but he refuses.

Diane arrives at the lodge, telling Peter and Rose to stay where they are while she tries to find Travers and talk to him. Instead, she finds Almora (Enrique Murciano), who refuses to believe Diana’s claims that the President and Zadar are in danger. When she asks to speak to Travers, Almora tells her that the connection is down - as we can assume, the tower has been tampered with. However, before they can track down Travers, Vice Presidential Assistant Briggs arrives with an ominous threat that Diane should not be at Camp David. He then pulls out a gun, shoots Diana in the back, and kills Almora. Overhearing the struggle, Peter storms in, but loses Briggs when he runs out the back door. An injured Diane points them to the communications building, where Rose can hopefully use her expertise to set things right, while Briggs uses a working communications line to let the other corrupt agents know that Peter is on the premises. When her guard is distracted by Briggs, Chelsea gets the upper hand and flees.

While Rose tries to make contact, Peter goes to find the president and stop the attack. Peter finds Briggs first and they fight in the woods on the property. Elsewhere, Chelsea finds a bomb in the lodge, evacuating the building while Maddie orders her father to let her out of the bunker. Maddie finally confronts him, explaining that she is done with fake smiles and lies and will not hide his role in the president’s death if his plan succeeds. So he releases Maddie, expecting the attack to kill her as well. Luckily, Rose manages to re-establish communications, so Chelsea is about to alert the President about the bomb just in time to leave Laurel Lodge. During the evacuation, Chelsea hears Maddie screaming from the hallway to the bunker and manages to get her out just before the bomb destroys the lodge. But the attack is not over. An inside man from the president’s security team informs Peter—thinking it is Briggs—that the president survived the first attempt, but contingencies on Marine One are doomed to failure. Before the President boards, Peter shoots the inside man in the head and holds the President at gunpoint while he tries to explain the situation to her and her remaining guards. He begs them to search for the bomb in the helicopter as all the agents in the compound point their weapons at him. Luckily, Travers listens to Peter, ordering his team to search. When they find the bomb, they run away as soon as it explodes. Everyone survives. Peter is taken into custody and Chelsea and Maddie arrive just in time to explain the conspiracy to President Travers and clear Peter’s name.
