Heavy is the head that wears the crown, and one can only imagine that the weight increases even more in youth. Bridgertonupcoming prequel series Queen Charlotte: The Bridgerton Story is going to explore just that in what looks like the royal novel of the year. The Netflix drama tells the story of a young monarch, then called Princess Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.India Amarteifio), on her way to an official meeting, falling in love and, ultimately, to a wedding with the young king George III (Corey Milkchrist). Naturally, the story will also delve into her ascent to the chief ruler of Ton. And the audience has already met the adult Queen Charlotte (Golda Rochevel) V Bridgerton series, the new show will be the first time anyone sees Charlotte as royalty in her early years. Eager viewers got a fresh look at the young Queen Charlotte ahead of the series.
In the new clip, Amarteifio’s regal replica takes center stage in a stunning silver crown that oozes majesty from each stone so visibly that it dominates her luscious brown wig. Looking like a real royal sight, Charlotte is adorned with even more flamboyant jewelry from her wrists to her neck in the form of a dazzling bracelet and a decadent necklace. Meanwhile, she’s wearing a smart pale blue ball gown with a contrasting ruffled sleeve to really tie the look together. Not only does this clip look effortlessly elegant, but it hints at Charlotte’s strength as she stands up straight with her hands on her hips.
Queen Charlotte’s resilience and stability are the cornerstones of her personality and have been hinted at throughout the main series as well as in the synopsis for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, which describes her as “beautiful, stubborn and very smart”. However, it appears that this power will not necessarily be celebrated by the British court, as is mentioned in the brief history. This isn’t the only problem Charlotte will have to face along with other people, including her new husband’s minor secrets and the social shift that has been reflected in Tone since the royal wedding.
Queen Charlotte: The Bridgerton Story Back to fan favorite characters
While Charlotte should be the focus of the series, it should also lift the veil on the story of the young King George, about whom viewers know very little from the tidbits shared everywhere. Bridgerton. Other characters set to appear include Young Lady Danbury and Young Lady Bridgerton, whose stories seem to intertwine just as they do in adulthood.
