In the recently released clip, viewers can see another screamer from the film, which will be released in theaters on April 14th.

Short but sweet, today’s teaser begins with Crowe’s father Gabriele Amort lighting a lighter in the pitch-black room. What at first appears dark and silent is quickly illuminated as the flames flicker and reveal a terrifying demon screaming in the Exorcist’s face. As the fire breaks out, the clip cuts to another scene where Father Amort holds out a crucifix to an unseen creature, with an adult and child hiding in the background. Teasing what’s next, a voice-over can be heard saying “this is just the beginning” before a quick trailer comes to an end with the movie’s title logo and release date info.

Samaritan And Son of arms director Julius Avery is directing a supernatural thriller that is an adaptation of the personal stories of Amort’s real-life father, as he wrote them in his memoirs: The exorcist tells his story And The Exorcist: Other Stories. While others in the Catholic Church were perplexed about his work, Father Amort found a friend in the Pope, who named him the official exorcist of the Vatican. Amort claims that during his time in this position, he performed over 100,000 exorcisms and founded the International Association of Exorcists - and that’s exactly what it sounds like.

While there are literally hundreds of thousands of stories to tell about the days when Father Amorth was the chief exorcist of the Vatican, papal exorcist First of all, let’s focus on the story of the dance of the priest with the devil over the boy’s soul. With a personal vendetta against the famed Amorta, the demon ruining the boy’s life asks for the Father by name, ready to take on the best of the best. As good and evil come to blows, the mysteries surrounding the Vatican’s past ties to this demon are revealed, putting Father Amort on a collision course in search of the truth. In addition to Crowe, the film also features John Wick: Chapter 2 star Franco Nero And WitchX Ralph Ineson with an ensemble cast that includes Cornell S.
