Every day we get closer to seeing Mel Brooksfoundational work History of the World, Part I return to our screen as a sequel, History of the world, part 2. It’s been a hell of a wait, and there’s only one month to go, and Hulu continues to tease viewers about what to expect from the sequel, which is a series of sketches where each episode parodies a specific time in history. The latest trailer, like the previous one, promises to compare the fun of the original film with an all-star cast creating some really fun sketches. The series will feature more stars than originally expected as Hulu brought more big names on board to deliver amazing performances.

The latest trailer includes many of the same scenes shown in the first trailer, however, with a slightly longer run time compared to the first trailer, we get to see a more detailed look at the scenes featured earlier. Trailer opens with Wanda Sykes as abolitionist and social activist Harriet Tubman pointing a gun at three Confederate soldiers, one of whom has no idea who she is, prompting Tubman to wonder how they managed to enslave blacks in the first place. More fun comes as the trailer progresses; there is an austrian neurologist scene Sigmund Freud going all out during the recording session, and Jay Ellis”Jesus Meets Judas and Noah”Seth Rogen) by loading his famous ark with animals.

In the original film, Brooks played various historical figures, and in a series of sketches, it seems that some actors will be involved more than others. First, Sykes, in addition to playing Tubman, is also considered Shirley Chisholm, the first major-party black candidate to run for President of the United States. The first film featured an ensemble cast, and this sequel has an even more stellar cast. Along with the new trailer, more actors were revealed, including Blake Griffin, Ayo Edebiri, James Adomian, Marla Gibbs, Jason Alexander, Fred Armisen, Tim Bagley, Dan Bakkedal, Travis Bennett, Sarayu Blue, Craig Kakovsky, Arturo CastroAnd Andy Cohenamong many others.

Brooks, in addition to starring, will write and executive produce the series with Nick Krollsykes, Hayk BaringoltsAnd David Stassen. Kevin Salter And Christy Smith are executive producers. History of the world, part 2 will include 8 episodes, directing credits in which will be shared by Kroll, Alice MatiasStassen and Lance Bangs.

History of the world, part 2, which will premiere on Monday, March 6, in two episodes. Two new episodes will be released daily, the finale of which is scheduled for March 9th. Check out the new trailer below:
