The school may have just returned to classes, but it’s never too late to think of yearbook superlatives! At least that’s what the cast of the Emmy-winning ABC comedy says. abbot elementary are doing in a new behind-the-scenes video that Collider can exclusively show right now.

In the video, Abbott Elementary School teachers sit down to determine which of their peers will take home which superlative title. Some answers come right away. Tyler James Williamswho plays the first grade teacher Gregory named Janelle Jameswhich brings Principal Ava Coleman, the classy clown, to life. Sheryl Lee RalphThe recently Emmy-winning kindergarten teacher Barbara Howard is named series creator and co-star. Quinta Brunson teachers pet while William Stanford Davis as well as Lisa Ann Walter praised the heart she brings to set.

The cast as a whole also had nothing but nice things to say about Ralph, whom they collectively dubbed Miss Popular. Chris Perfetti, who plays history teacher Jacob Hill, called working with her a highlight, while Brunson yelled out her “diva energy” saying that’s the type a person wants to be around and the type that “makes you better” . Earlier this year, Ralph became the second black woman in history to win a Primetime Emmy Award for Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and the first winner in 35 years. She celebrated this event with a touching speech of thanks.

Ralph’s Emmy win wasn’t the only award. abbot elementary took home the biggest night on TV. Brunson also received the award for writing a comedy series. Multihyphen, who in addition to creating and writing the show, also stars as second grade teacher Janine Tiegs, became only the second black woman to win in her category, after Lena Waitevictory for Master of Nothing in 2017.

abbot elementary follows the staff of the award-winning Philadelphia Public School and is filmed in a mockumentary style in the vein of Parks and recreation areas. Like that series abbot elementary sees how its main characters sometimes disagree on how to approach things when it comes to their students, but in turn are genuinely nice to their students and their co-workers. The show’s popularity and recent Emmy awards show that even in the era of prestige streaming, really good shows will be at the top.
