Jessica Gao is currently appreciating the successful launch of its Disney+ series from Marvel Studios. She-Hulk Attorney at Law. The new superhero series has been well received by fans and critics alike for its comedic tone, intense pace, and fresh take on superhero storytelling. Jennifer Walters (ur.Tatiana Maslany) witty, breaks the fourth wall, Rubbish style and completely control your rage! One can only wonder why Gao has not been involved in any other Marvel project so far, however, in a recent interview with The Wrap Rick and Morty alum revealed details about her Black Widow presentation and that the studio turned her down on several projects, starting a long-running prank between her and the head of Marvel. Kevin Feige.
Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) found her a standalone movie after the character saw her demise in the MCU. Chronologically, the film fits somewhere between Captain America: Civil War as well as Avengers: Infinity War. We finally see Natasha attempt to remove “red from her ledger” and also meet her estranged Russian family, consisting of Red Guardian/Aleksei Shostakov (David Harbor), Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weitz) and Elena Belova (Florence Pugh).
Gao described her pitch as “Grosse Pointe Blanc for Black Widow. 1997 film featuring John Cusackfollows a spy who attends a 10 year high school reunion while on a mission. Taking inspiration from this story, Gao explained her idea in broad terms: “Basically, you learn that in high school, as a teenage spy/Russian agent, she was put into an American high school because she had to kill someone. father.” It further adds, “Then, 20 years later, she returns to the high school reunion and has to deal with the fallout from that fake identity when she betrayed all those people in high school.”
She-Hulk the creator also revealed that she got to know the studio for projects such as Captain Marvel as well as Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings which eventually went to the duo Anna Boden as well as Ryan Fleckas well as Destin Daniel Cretton respectively. However, according to Gao, these events only led to her landing. She-Hulk. She went on to reveal that every time she was going to suggest something, “it was like, ‘Oh hey, what’s up?’ Is this the time of year when you reject me again? Chill. What have you been doing since you rejected me? It just made the room very warm.” It was this humor that gave Marvel executives a “very good idea” of Gao’s sense of humor. And, of course, this is reflected in She-Hulk The series and its characters.
