During the Good Work for a Good Life convention, the New Left announced the introduction of a 35-hour work week. But this is not the end.
During Saturday’s “Good Work for a Good Life” convention, the New Left, among other things, announced a reduction in the working week from the current 40 to 35 hours, while maintaining the same pay.
Leftists on 35-hour working hours
- People must live. Work is not the only part of each of you - Włodzimierz Czarzasty, one of the leaders of the New Left, stated this during the congress.
Tsarzasty admitted that he was “stupid” because he worked 16 hours a day. He also prevented the passage of a “right to switch off” law to prevent the boss from calling on 22, as well as a 35-day vacation. – These are the dreams of the wizard on the left – - said the politician.
The working week is planned to be reduced gradually - first by two hours a week, and then by five hours.
A shorter workweek has long been one of the leading demands of the left. – Poles will benefit from a reduction in their working hours, and Poles deserve a reduction in their working hours – The leader of the Razem party, Adrian Zandberg, stated this a few days ago in an interview with Radio Zet.
Zandberg explained that companies must decide on the final formula for reduced work hours. “We want to make it a little more flexible—phasing it down to 35 hours over the course of one semester.” But decisions on this matter were made downstairs, whether it would be 4 days a week or 35 hours distributed over 5 days - - explained the politician.
When asked whether Poles could earn the same amount after reducing working hours, the politician replied: - Yes. We know this from the experience of countries that have reduced working hours. I also talk about our experience here.
