Every month - 150 UAH more: which pensioners are entitled to receive such an additional payment to their pension

Some pensioners, in addition to the basic payment, may also receive additional payments, in particular, allowances for age and length of service, for donation, for dependent children.

As the publication “On Pensions” writes, the allowance for children is awarded to pensioners who support children under 18 years of age. 150 hryvnia for each child is paid in addition to pensions for age, disability and long service assigned in accordance with the laws of Ukraine “On pension provision” and “On compulsory state pension insurance”.

To receive an allowance for a child, you must submit an application to the branch of the Pension Fund of Ukraine at the place where you received the pension, adding to it a package of documents proving the identity, family relationships and age of the dependent, as well as his stay as a dependent of the applicant. Documents confirming that the applicant does not work may be a work book, individual information about the insured person, information about the lack of information about the state registration of an individual entrepreneur.

The package of documents includes:

• pensioner’s passport;

• document on assignment of the registration number of the taxpayer’s registration card;

• pensioner’s work book;

• birth certificate of a child supported by a pensioner;

• certificate from the authorized bodies from the place of residence regarding maintenance or cohabitation with the applicant.

The increase is paid until dependent children turn 18 years old.

If pensioners receiving child benefit find work or become entrepreneurs, they are required to inform the Pension Fund about this. In such cases, the increase is stopped.

Let us remind you that persons who have the status of a participant in hostilities must receive an additional payment to their pension in an amount equivalent to 25% of the subsistence minimum established for persons who have lost their ability to work. The additional payment is established regardless of the type of pension received. Today, the specified subsistence minimum is 2093 hryvnia, therefore the amount of the specified allowance is 523.25 hryvnia.
