80 percent of Poles want to go on holiday abroad, and 36 percent. - even twice a year. A new study shows that a holiday abroad is still the dream of compatriots, even despite rising prices.

Holidays should be outside the country - so decided the vast majority of Poles. A new study shows that paradise beaches attract our compatriots more than a home vacation in the country.

Poles prefer abroad - holidays can be expensive if they are successful

The last photo of Poles on holiday comes from a study by GFK Polonia commissioned by the travel platform eSky.pl. The survey shows that 80% of respondents intend to spend their holidays abroad. A considerable percentage - 36 percent. – and intends to travel abroad at least twice.

Interestingly, Romanians and Czechs even more often plan holidays abroad (82% each). 76% of people also go on vacation. Hungarians, 74 percent. Croats and 72 per cent. Bulgarians.

How do Poles relax?

About 48% organize long trips on their own. vacationers, which is 7 p.p. compared to the same study last year. However, most still rely on the help of a tour operator.

Shorter trips to the city are organized by up to 83% of tourists. our compatriots. These are items such as tickets, hotels, insurance, or trips to airports. Only 17 percent pass it on to companies.

Surprisingly, the most important thing for Poles is when organizing a trip. Climate and weather are most often indicated (63%), then the price of the trip (60%), and only in third place is the attractiveness of the place of stay (53%). Far fewer people care about the date of departure (41%).

To summarize - in good weather it can even be a little more expensive and boring. And the time will come.
