ChatGPT can change your life. According to one of the users, AI as a trainer completely changed his approach, and the man got in shape and health. In addition, he lost a lot of extra pounds.
The ChatGPT chatbot has already been a radio host, a lawyer, and even advised users on financial matters. So nothing prevents us from staying healthy and taking care of our figure. One of the American users of the OpenAI service thought in a similar vein, and then began to practice under the dictation of artificial intelligence.
Training with ChatGPT - an American began to run with AI
One Greg Mushen from Seattle decided to get back in shape and change his habits. All this to ensure that her six-year-old daughter remains healthy as long as possible. However, wishing alone is rarely enough, especially when promises of miraculous diets and fitness programs advertised by influencers pop up from every corner. In this chaos, it is easy to get lost and quickly return to the couch.
However, Mushen came up with the idea to use artificial intelligence to create an exercise plan. He asked chatbot ChatGPT for a way to “fall in love with running” that would allow him to start from scratch and gradually move forward through regular workouts.
In the beginning, artificial intelligence suggested that he change some of his habits and make the transition to exercises that were sometimes difficult as much as possible. ChatGPT advised him, among other things: keep your sneakers ready at the door, and clothes always at hand.
Artificial intelligence as a running coach - it’s possible
At first, the AI didn’t even encourage him to run, just go outside. The race did not start until the third day and lasted only five minutes. The man felt that the steps suggested by the AI were “too simple to work with.” And still.
After three months of ChatGPT training, Mushen runs six times a week. Usually it takes him 45 minutes to an hour, but he is interested in more complex tasks, such as sprints over mountainous terrain. He has also lost 26 pounds, or about 11.7 kg, since the start of the experiment.
As the runner summarizes, ChatGPT did not give him anything special, such information can be found on the net or asked from a professional trainer. What he believes made him successful was the feeling that the plan was made for him personally, and the slow pace avoided burnout. A nice bonus is that he did not pay a dime for subscriptions to the gym or classes with a trainer.
