Blocking imports from Ukraine

Grain from Ukraine
In April, Poland imposed a ban on the import of certain types of cereals, which meant that trains and trucks did not cross the Polish-Ukrainian border for several days. However, this regulation was quickly changed: until the end of May, wheat, corn, rapeseed and sunflower seeds could cross the border, and sealed wagons or cars could go only to ports where grain was loaded onto ships and exported to third countries. .
Soon after Poland, Hungary banned the import of agricultural products from Ukraine. This idea was also supported by Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria. The import ban was lifted on May 2, after the entry into force of EU regulations restricting the import of certain types of agricultural products from Ukraine.
