According to an IBRiS survey for Santander Consumer Bank, a third of Poles are not interested in any courses or training. Respondents wishing to take a course are more likely to choose work-related training or English language courses.
Participants in a survey conducted by the Institute for Market and Social Research (IBRIS) on behalf of Santander Consumer Bank were asked what course/training they would like to take to acquire new skills now or in the future. Almost every fifth respondent (19.1%) answered that they would choose training related to their current job. Interest was shown mainly by men and persons with an income of more than PLN 4,000. net zloty.
Foreign language course. Greatest interest in English
Language courses are also very popular. 15.5 percent of those surveyed say they would like to attend English courses, and 11.5%. of the respondents expressed interest in a foreign language course other than English. The English language course is most popular among the youngest group of respondents (18-29 years old), as well as among people over 60 years old.
Almost every tenth respondent (11.9%) states that they would like to take a course to improve knowledge that will be useful to them in their future work. The most interesting are the age groups of 18-29 and 30-39 years old, as well as those who earn more than PLN 7,000 net.
The IBRiS poll also shows less than 7 percent. of the respondents would like to complete a postgraduate course in the specialty in which they work. Only 6.1 percent. respondents are planning to take a programming course. Only 5.1% would attend a soft competencies course (eg self-management in time, effective communication). items.
Almost every third respondent (31.7%) is not interested in any courses/trainings. 13.2 percent of the respondents were unable to answer this question.
The survey was conducted by telephone, using a standardized computer-aided survey (CATI) in July this year. on a representative group of 1001 adult Poles.
