On the night of Saturday, October 1, the Russians once again hit Nikolaev - two districts of the city fell under rocket fire.
As reported in the Nikolaev regional prosecutor’s office, criminal proceedings have been initiated on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The city was shelled around 4:30. One of the missiles hit a five-story residential building. There, apartments on the 4th and 5th floors were completely destroyed, others were significantly damaged.
Private residential buildings, cars of citizens, buildings and premises of a motor transport company were also damaged.
“So far, two victims are known - a woman with a three-month-old baby. There are no military installations in these territories”- added to the prosecutor’s office.
According to head of the regional OVA Vitaly Kimthe enemy used S-300 missiles. The number of victims is greater - according to preliminary data, five people were injured, including a three-month-old child. “The child, along with his mother, is receiving medical assistance. Now the condition of all the wounded is stable, he added.
Vitaly Kim also said that after midnight the enemy attacked the city with Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.
We will remind that on September 29 the Russian invaders fired at Nikolaev with cluster shells. Explosions were heard at rush hour at a public transport stop. Two dead and more than ten injured were reported.
