In the first 6 months of 2023, the stationary devices of the CANARD Automatic Traffic Monitoring Center recorded 1/4 of the cases of traffic violations less than a year ago. We know which radars and sectional speed measurements were the busiest.

Almost 80,000 cases of exceeding the speed limit at the OPP
The CANARD report, published in Interia.pl, lists the busiest speed measurement areas and speed cameras. In the period from January to June 2023, all devices used to measure sectional speed recorded 76,883 cases of exceeding the speed limit. The busiest device in the OPP system this year was installed in the tunnel on the S7 highway (Skomielna Biała - Repair), in which more than 11.3 thousand offenses were recorded. In turn, the speed camera that takes the most photos in Poland is located in Warsaw at ul. Ostrobramskaya. From January to June of this year, 5727 violations were recorded.
