Drivers don’t have to worry. Fuel prices will not rise by the May weekend

Must read

There will be no increase in fuel prices for the May weekend, at least at Orlen stations. This was stated by the head of the concern Daniel Obaitek.

Speaking on RMF FM, Orlen President Daniel Obaitek said that the cost of refueling on the May weekend will remain stable, and the concern will try to keep it below 7 zł per liter. This is written by the service dedicated to the fuel market, E-petrol.pl.

Unchanged fuel prices for the long weekend

As we read, in RMF FM Noon Interview, Daniel Obaitek stressed that Orlen is trying to stabilize fuel prices. He added that the concern from Płock is doing everything so that fuel does not cost 7 zł per liter on May weekends. Obaitek recalled that Orlen gave a guarantee that “fuel will not rise in price during the Easter holidays and will not rise in price.” Now he has made a similar announcement regarding the upcoming picnic.

E-petrol.pl further writes that the president of the fuel company PKN Orlen added on RMF FM that the introduction of artificial price regulation is impossible “because it will be a regulated economy.” He also recalled during the conversation that the Hungarians introduced an artificial price for fuel and therefore they ran out of gasoline and diesel fuel, and their economy stopped.
