Alfa Romeo has summed up its successful 2022 and announced some new items for the next 12 months. What awaits fans of the brand?
The Alfa Romeo brand ends 2022 on a positive note. Among the successes, he mentions: an important premiere, entering the world of electrification and increasing market share in a difficult recession year.
Last February saw the premiere of Alfa Romeo Tonale, the second model of the SUV segment in the Milan stable. The new car immediately became number one for the brand, both because of the size of the compact SUV segment, to which Tonale belongs (22.6 percent in Poland), and because of the drive offering. It was the Tonale model in MHEV and later PHEV versions that introduced Alfa Romeo to the world of electrification.
The Tonale model, presented in Polish car dealerships in May last year, strengthened the brand’s position in the country. While the entire passenger car market fell by 6.03% in 2022, Alfa Romeo not only maintained its current share, but even slightly increased it (by 0.01%). At the same time, the brand strongly emphasized its presence in the premium car segment, recording a share of 1.81%.

In addition, Stelvio and Giulia were not only appreciated by customers last year, but also awarded prestigious awards. Readers of the “Auto Moto” and “Motor” magazines and the website Magazynauto.pl voted the Giulia as the best mid-range car of the “Auto Lider 2022” plebiscite, and its limited track version of the Giulia GTAm as the sports car. car of the year. The Stelvio took second place in the mid-size crossover/SUV class. The Giulia GTAm was also rated by the readers of the Auto Świat weekly and the Auto-Swiat.pl portal and was named the sports car of the year in the Auto Świat Moto Awards 2021 voting.
