Toyota has become the leader of the automotive market in Poland for the third year in a row. Corolla has become the most popular model of 2022.

Toyota ended 2022 as the leader of the Polish market for the third time in a row. The share of the brand in the sale of new passenger cars is 17.6 percent. From January to December, Polish buyers registered 73,862 Toyota vehicles, up 75 percent from last year. more than the second-place brand (Skoda).

- Our company copes well with crisis situations. In Covid 2020, we were able to maintain sales while others put their teams on forced leave and quarantined. In the following 2021, when the global market was torn apart by supply disruptions and shortages of components, some models could be bought locally. In 2022, when the market was gripped by inflation and paralyzed by the fear of war in Ukraine, our teams were able to keep the cars available and guarantee good prices. The key to success was primarily two questions. Firstly, the high flexibility of our team, ready to quickly implement innovative changes, such as an online sales platform in 2020 or a price guarantee in 2021. The second factor was maintaining the availability of cars equipped with the latest technology at a reasonable price. That is why we enter 2023 with great optimism,” said Jacek Pawlak, president of Toyota Central Europe.

In December, Toyota’s customers registered 6,981 passenger cars (+3%), giving it the number one spot and a big advantage over other brands. 2,333 cars were handed over to private individuals, which is 12% more than a year earlier. more than in December 2021.
