In Ukraine, despite the martial law, planned increases and recalculations of pensions are being carried out.
So, in March, a large-scale indexation was carried out, which affected almost 10 million pensioners. Payments to persons with disabilities were also revised, writes the specialized publication On Pension.
What will change for people with disabilities from September 1?
In Ukraine, when calculating a disability pension, the age, group and length of service of a person are taken into account. Therefore, the amount for each person is individual:
And the disability group - the insurance period should be from 1 to 10 years, depending on the age of determining disability, 100% of the old-age pension.
II group of disability - experience from 1 to 14 years, 90% of the old-age pension.
III group of disability - insurance period from 1 to 14 years, and the amount - 50% of the old-age pension.
Minimum disability pension - amount
In Ukraine, the minimum disability pension is:
for persons with disabilities of group I - 2300 UAH;
for non-working persons with disabilities II and III groups - 2100 UAH;
for working persons with disabilities II and III groups - 2093 UAH.
Earlier, we wrote about whether the payments of pensioners will become less due to the “freeze” of the minimum payments.
