A Ukrainian with a leg amputated, expelled from a Wizz Air plane, is not a veteran.
This was announced by Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko.
According to him, Alexander (such is the name of the man who was removed from the plane) never served in the army. He lost his leg in a car accident many years ago.
But a representative of the Foreign Ministry took up his story and helped him board a flight to Europe.
“Despite the official apology of the airline, we believe that the rights of a Ukrainian citizen have been violated. We are waiting for the completion of the official investigation, bringing the perpetrators to justice and the fulfillment by the air carrier of its obligations to the passenger. We will keep this issue under control.“, - writes Nikolenko.
Recall that the media reported that the Ukrainian veteran with an amputated leg, the Hungarian airline Wizz Air forcibly removed from the flight at Tel Aviv airport, allegedly for inappropriate behavior. The company publicly apologized after the publicity.
Earlier we talked about the tragedy in Polish Chelm, an unknown man attacked a 36-year-old Ukrainian with a knife. The four wounds he inflicted were fatal. Now the attacker is wanted by the Polish police.
