An error in the execution of a work book can cost a pension: PFC told what to look for

Must read

Due to errors in the execution of a work book, citizens may have difficulty assigning a pension.

The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Kyiv noted that errors can lead both to the loss of part of the insurance period, and to the refusal to assign a pension or reduce its size.

In order to prevent this, experts told what to pay special attention to:

  • When hiring, there must be an appropriate entry: date, title of position, name of organization or enterprise, number and date of the order, signature of the head and his last name (full name), seal;

  • There must be a complete record of the change in the name of the enterprise or reorganization, if such changes occurred;

  • There should be no “messages” in other ink to preliminary records of acceptance or dismissal in the labor one. Such a “message” is important to correctly issue a separate entry. The entry must be certified - “to believe the added information”, seal and signature of an authorized person;

  • When changing the surname, it is important to indicate the name of the document according to which the change occurs, indicate by whom and when it was published.

  • Pay attention to the correctness of the names of the enterprises recorded in the work book, dates, order numbers.

Recall that the work book is an important document when applying for a pension. If it is lost, difficulties may arise, because if data on a person’s labor activity after 2004 was entered into state registers, then it is still not there. And to confirm the experience will have to collect documents.

So far, Ukrainians have the opportunity to digitize their work book on their own, so that even if it is lost, data on work experience will not be lost.
