The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified the mechanism for assigning a housing subsidy, in addition to the ability to submit a simplified version of the application without an income declaration, parts of the population will not take into account certain incomes and property.
According to the Social Information Platform, this decision was made by the government.
In particular, when assigning a subsidy, the presence of cars in:
-
foster families;
-
large families;
-
families in which by the beginning of the month from which the subsidy is assigned, three or more children live;
-
families that include a person with a disability
They will not take into account the income of household members who are abroad for more than 60 days, and will not take them into account when determining social standards.
The changes also provide for the accrual of subsidies and benefits to residents of regions in the zone of active hostilities or under occupation, where social protection agencies do not work. They will receive allowances for payment of housing and communal services according to the data available in the registers of recipients of the Unified Information System for the Social Sphere. Payments will be credited to a bank card”- the message says.
Earlier, the Ministry of Social Policy told how the amount of subsidies for residents of the occupied territories is calculated.
And lawyers explained whether people with arrears in utility bills could count on state assistance to pay for housing and communal services.
