“Very simple, but divinely delicious”: a quick onion and bacon pie from Vladimir Yaroslavsky

Ingredients:

500 g puff pastry without yeast
60-80 g bacon
120-140 g onion
Olive or vegetable oil
A little balsamic vinegar
Salt, fresh herbs
a little honey

Cooking method:

Carefully roll out the thawed dough and divide into 6 parts. We pierce each with a fork a little so that they do not deform so much during the baking process. On parchment, pour a little oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, thyme (here you can add more honey). We put a ring of onion, slices of bacon on it, puff pastry on top. You can brush with egg if you like, but it’s not necessary. We bake at a temperature of 180 g for about 25-30 minutes, making sure that the dough is cooked. When the cake is ready, leave it for 2 minutes.
