The long-awaited indexation, which many Ukrainians are counting on, will definitely be carried out in March and will affect all pensioners, including those who continue to work.
This was stated on the air of the telethon by the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Oksana Zholnovich.
“On average, the pension will increase by about 322 hryvnia,” - she said.
According to the minister, from March 1 there will be a general indexation of 8%, carried out in accordance with the law.
“And our average pension will increase and will be 5,717 hryvnia,” – Zholnovich added.
The official clarified that the smallest pensions received by citizens with little work or insurance experience will increase by 364 hryvnia on average.
She recalled that this and last year the government formed indexation in such a way as to increase the smallest pensions by the maximum percentage.
“Such a pension will be at least 2,725 hryvnia, and the largest pension will immediately increase by almost 3 thousand hryvnia and it will be 23,610 hryvnia,” – Zholnovich said.
Let us recall that a few days ago it became known that the indexation of pensions in Ukraine in 2024 is planned to be carried out with a coefficient of 1.079. In this case, the minimum increase will be 100 hryvnia, the maximum – 1,577 hryvnia.
