Poland again increases payments for children, which Ukrainians can also receive.
We are talking about payments under the “500+” program, writes visitukraine.today.
From January 1, 2024, Ukrainian families with children living in Poland will receive PLN 300 more. In total, the allowance will be PLN 800.
To apply for child benefits, you must apply to ZUS using:
- PUE ZUS website or mZUS mobile application;
- portal [email protected];
- banking services.
A document confirming the legality of residence on the territory of Poland must be attached to the application. Namely:
- a card beaten with the mark “access to the labor market”;
- PESEL with UKR badge;
- view of permanent residence;
- confirmed refugee status or other documents.
According to official estimates, more than PLN 220 billion have been paid out over the 7 years of the 500+ program.
At the same time, the Czech authorities are planning to change the conditions for providing assistance to Ukrainian refugees from July. So the government wants to encourage Ukrainians to look for work.
