Ukrainians who have gone abroad can receive financial assistance, in particular, in Poland. Including from the German fund, but only certain categories of citizens will be able to count on it.
We are talking about Ukrainians who were forced to leave for Poland after February 24, 2022, according to the Joint Fund, which is the official representative of UNICEF in Ukraine. According to the Diakonie Katastrofenhilfe charitable foundation, payments will resume from March 2023. People who have received temporary protection or refugee status in Poland can count on them.
There are two important conditions for getting help:

not previously received financial assistance from other international organizations (for example, the UN, the Red Cross), payments from the Polish government are not an obstacle;
-
belong to vulnerable categories - families that do not have access to a regular income sufficient to cover the minimum standard of living.
The amount of payments is PLN 710 per month for three months for the head of the family (approximately UAH 18,000). The rest of the family members will receive PLN 610 per month (a total of UAH 15.4 thousand).
To receive financial support from the German foundation, you must register for the submission of documents and come to the DKH registration center at the appointed time.
Application verification centers opened in 13 Polish cities: Wroclaw; Kalish; Koszalin; Lublin; Suwalki; Write; Tseshin; Deldovo; Mragowo; Niditya; Swidnitsa; Walbrzych; Hungruve.
A month is given for consideration of the application. Vulnerability criteria are taken into account: age, disability, health, pregnancy and household capabilities. The result of consideration of the application - rendering assistance or refusal - will be received in an SMS message.
Recall that the office of the Ukrainian Ombudsman noted that financial assistance received abroad should be declared, but taxes are not paid from it.
