Autumn is a time not only for Halloween parties, but also for various school fairs, where children try to raise as much money as possible for the Armed Forces of Ukraine by selling their own baked goodies. One of the win-win recipes for such a delicacy was shared by Lviv food blogger Lilia Tsvet.
She showed how to make interesting cookies in the shape of a bear’s face from ordinary shortbread dough and chocolate. Of course, it will be simply unrealistic to pass by such baked goods at the fair!
So, for the test (based on 40 products), take:
-
egg - 1 pc;
-
sugar - 120 g;
-
vanilla sugar - 10 g;
-
butter - 150 g;
-
flour - 250 g;
-
baking powder - 1 tsp;
-
a pinch of salt.
White and dark chocolate are used as decoration - 20 and 10 g, respectively.
Preparation
Wrap the dough mixed with all the ingredients in cling film and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Divide the chilled dough in half and roll it out to a thickness of 3-5 mm.
Using glasses, cut out circles with a diameter of 4 and 2 cm. The first ones will be the muzzle, and the second ones will be the ears of the bears. You can combine the cookie particles directly on the baking sheet.
We bake the cookies at 180 degrees for 10-12 minutes, and decorate the cooled ones with chocolate, as in the video.
Pay attention to the unusual recipe for Argentine Alfajores cookies and traditional Ukrainian honey cookies with spices.
