The number of victims of the bad weather raging in Kyiv has increased.
As reported capital head Vitali Klitschko, two men aged 65 and 35 years died. Seven more townspeople received injuries and fractures. Five of them were hospitalized by doctors, and two more were treated on the spot.

“Currently, more than 250 trees have fallen or been damaged. To eliminate the consequences of the hurricane, 34 units of equipment and 208 employees of the Emergency Dispatch Service of the Kievzelenstroy KO and emergency teams of utility workers in the city districts were involved. Elimination of the consequences of bad weather continues,” - Klitschko noted and called on residents of the capital to be careful and not go outside unless necessary, because the bad weather will continue until the end of the day.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified that people died in the Podolsky and Shevchenkovsky districts of Kyiv. In the Obolon district of the capital, a gust of wind tore off part of the metal structure of a public transport stop and injured a woman. Problems with power supply have already been recorded in 12 regions of the state (more than 780 settlements). Most of all - in the Khmelnitsky, Rivne and Lviv regions.
Meanwhile, Ukrzaliznytsia reports that a number of trains have been delayed - these are the consequences of bad weather, because in some regions the wind caused trees to fall on the tracks, problems arose with the signaling system and the power grid.
“In Kyiv, despite the gusty wind that managed to damage the covering of the suburban station, all commuter trains and Kyiv City Express are strictly on schedule,” – added to UZ.

By the way, the roof of the Dubensky Castle of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve in the Rivne region was also damaged.

Rescuers, using special equipment, removed emergency roof elements damaged by strong winds.
Let us remind you that power engineers warned about emergency power outages due to strong winds and possible damage to networks.
