Preparing a new salad is like painting a picture. This requires special inspiration. The recipe for an unusual salad with FACTS was shared by a well-known Ukrainian cook Oksana Vozniuk.
- When I introduced this salad to the menu of one of the Lviv restaurants, then I could not even think that it would become one of the hits. - Says Oksana Voznyuk. - And the recipe is quite simple, and the ingredients are available.
Potato salad with smoked mackerel
For one serving of salad you will need the following products:
smoked mackerel (fillet) - 80 g
fresh tomato (cherry) -50 g
potatoes, boiled in their skins - 100 g
leek - 20 g (white part)
parsley - 3 g
oil - 20 g
lemon juice - 3 g
French mustard beans - 2 g
salt and pepper - to taste
mix of lettuce leaves - 60 g
flax seeds and microgreens (optional)
cooking cream - 20 g
horseradish - 30 g
We cut the peeled potatoes into cubes, leeks into rings, chop the parsley. We season everything with vegetable oil, lemon juice and salt and pepper.
We spread on the leaves of a seasoned salad (dressing - salt, pepper, oil), then spread the tomatoes and mackerel cut into pieces, sprinkle with flax seeds and microgreens. Separately, we serve the “cream with horseradish” sauce (whip the cream with a mixer and add horseradish, lemon juice, salt to them).
