In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the court put an end to the case regarding the robbery and murder of a local farmer, which was committed several years ago.
According to the State Bureau of Investigation, this is a crime committed in the village of Saksaganskoye, Krinichansky district, by a junior inspector of one of the correctional colonies and two of his accomplices. The inspector and his henchmen are sentenced to life imprisonment with confiscation of all property.
During the pre-trial investigation, investigators found that three intruders broke into the farmer’s house, where the victim was at that time, as well as his relatives, including two babies.
“The attackers tied up adults, and they started beating the farmer, shot him in the leg and arm, so that he would tell where he was hiding the cash. Unable to bear the bullying, the owner told him where the safe with the money was in the house. The attackers took about UAH 580,000 in various currencies. In addition, they were forced to give the jewels that were on the victims. And after the money was taken away, the owner was fatally stabbed in the chest,” the report says.
It is also noted that the attackers tried to escape from the crime scene in a car that belonged to a farmer, but while driving, its steering wheel was blocked.
Recall that recently in the Obukhovsky district of the Kyiv region, a 70-year-old man shot a 74-year-old farmer because of a debt for renting land. The tenant said that he had brought the money, but would not give it to the landlord. Then the latter fired a gun at the cab of the opponent’s car. He died on the spot.
