The well-known Ukrainian comedian Andriy Shchegel from the Srakadupa podcast gave a big frank interview to Roman Skripin, which, after it was broadcast on the YouTube channel skrypin.ua, caused a wide resonance in society. Schegel, in particular, frankly stated that he fled Ukraine after the third summons, because it was not his choice to die for his native country.
“I am not afraid of the military registration and enlistment offices. I define myself as a free person. I realized that I was uncomfortable and that I could no longer. And I found a way to get lost and live comfortably. I’m honestly telling you - exercising my right to a fucking life, I just lost my temper and sit here, ” the comedian said. According to him, he left as an artist with the permission of the state to present Ukraine abroad. And he has no plans to return. But his acquaintances had to cross the border secretly along some forest-rivers. Shchegel plans to live in Turkey for the time being, and when the time of unhindered stay in the country passes, he will move to Albania and then further across Europe.

For, firstly, “the country is a fiction”, and secondly: “it is the choice of the guys - to die.” “I sincerely sympathize with everyone who is now forced to defend Ukraine, because he loves it, and I sincerely sympathize with Ukraine that it is experiencing the most terrible tragedy in its history and, perhaps, in the world now,” - says Schegel.
Some of the audience even supported the fugitive. But the majority were shocked and did not hide their disgust in their comments: “It seems to have entered into shit”, “When his mother and sister are raped by convicts, Buryats and Kadyrovtsy, let him not worry - this is their choice!”, “I want to wash my hands after such a guest”, “Do not return to Ukraine anymore”.
