On Monday, February 7, President Volodymyr Zelensky held a regular meeting of the Headquarters, which considered many issues.
The head of the Ukrainian state spoke about the details of the discussion in an address following the results of the 348th day of the war.
“Many questions. The key is action on the front lines. In Donetsk region and other directions. Particular attention - Bakhmut. Our defense. Attempts by the occupier to cordon off the city and break the defense there. We resist. I thank every warrior who provides resistance with his stamina!” - said the President of Ukraine.
The issues of providing our soldiers with ammunition were also considered.
“Artillery is one of the key factors”, - Vladimir Zelensky is sure.
Also at the Headquarters, they spoke about strengthening the position of the state in a number of regions, where leaders with military experience were appointed - those who can prove themselves most effectively in protecting against the threats that currently exist.
“In general, it is worth noting that we will combine the experience gained by our people in defending Ukraine - military experience - with specific managerial work in positions in local and central government,” - assured the Ukrainian leader.
Another important issue discussed during the Stavka meeting is the formation of new brigades of the National Guard, police, border guards - the Offensive Guard.
“The start is strong. To be continued. I thank everyone who showed interest in the formation of brigades. Thanks to everyone who applies! Good motivation plus good preparation is equal to the ability of our defense and security forces to return their own to Ukraine. Glory to all who fight for Ukraine! Glory to each and every one who works for our state! Kudos to everyone who helps! President Zelensky summed up.
Recall that the aggressor is also preparing for a new offensive, but analysts at the Institute for the Study of War are already convinced that Putin is overestimating the capabilities of his troops.
