The police of the Kiev region told the details of the incident that occurred in the village of Rokytne on the Christmas holidays, where a drunk man attacked the police during curfew.
According to the communications department, at around 11:20 p.m., law enforcement officers stopped an Audi car, the driver of which was clearly intoxicated. While documenting, a Mitsubishi vehicle driven by a 65-year-old local government official drove to the scene.
He got out of the car and began to accuse the police officers, provoking a conflict situation.
“He behaved aggressively towards the security forces, whose legal requirements he did not obey, tore off the chest bodycam and damaged it, at the same time threatening the police with physical violence. When trying to arrest the deputy, he resisted and fled the scene.- the message says.
On this fact, a pre-trial investigation has been launched (part 1 of article 345 of the Criminal Code), the sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of corrective labor for up to 2 years or arrest for up to 6 months, or restriction of liberty for up to 3 years, or imprisonment for the same period .
Recall that in Kharkiv, a violation of the requirements to ban movement during the curfew led to a tragedy - the driver tried to hide from the patrol, became the culprit of an accident and died.
