According to Lowcostavia, a free Przemysl-Hannover train runs for Ukrainians. It will run every other day throughout December (on odd days), departing from Przemysl at 22:30. Upon arrival in Hannover, you can get a free Helpukraine ticket to travel to any city in Germany.
“Train tickets from Poland to Germany are not needed and registration is also not needed. You only need to be on the platform or contact the Red Cross workers or volunteers. When boarding, priority applies: first people with bracelets from the Polish Red Cross, then families with children, the elderly and people with disabilities, and then everyone else. Sometimes it can happen that there is not enough space for everyone. Then people should be placed in a humanitarian center in Przemysl and given a bracelet guaranteeing a place on the next train.“.
The train usually arrives in Hannover between 14:30 and 16:00. People are met by volunteers and workers of the Hannover camp. From the camp to the station there is a free bus that leaves at 10:00 and at 12:00 every day.
