I am currently working as a news website author at Daily News Hack. I mostly cover trending news and have been doing so for quite some time now. I have always had a keen interest in current affairs and the world around me, which is what led me to my current job. I firmly believe that the best way to learn about something is by doing it yourself and that is why I love my job so much. It allows me to be constantly learning about new things and then sharing that knowledge with others. I am also a big believer in the power of networking and building relationships. I think that LinkedIn is a great platform for connecting with like-minded people from all over the world.

Other effective life hacks:

  • give preference to a simple text editor instead of energy-intensive Microsoft Word, and if you still need it, turn off the autosave option;

  • turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VGA, Ethernet, PCMCIA, USB and wireless communication if they are not needed for work;

  • put the laptop into sleep mode if you leave it for a while;

  • reduce screen brightness and resolution;

  • do not overheat or overcool the laptop;

  • turn off external devices (USB mouse, portable hard drives, USB webcams);

  • store data in your computer memory, on a flash drive or in the cloud, and not on CD or DVD;

  • do not leave a disc in the drive.

And finally, make sure that your laptop does not discharge below 20%. This way you can protect the battery from wear and tear.
