Some categories of Ukrainian pensioners are entitled to all kinds of pension supplements. For example, people who have taken a well-deserved rest and are not working, if they support children under 18, are entitled to certain payments.
Those pensioners who were forced to leave their homes, running away from the war, can also receive allowances. According to the publication “On Pension”, we are talking about those who found refuge in the mountainous regions of Ukraine.
“Since 1995, the law on the status of mountain settlements has come into force. Since our region is geographically overwhelmingly mountainous, more than 190 settlements have this status.- noted Head of the State PFU in the Transcarpathian region Victoria Polyakovskaya.
If a person permanently lives in a mountainous settlement, then a supplement of 20 percent of the basic amount of payments is set for his pension.
To receive an increase, pensioners must obtain the status of a resident in the territory of a mountain settlement and certificates. To do this, you must contact the local authorities or the Center for the provision of administrative services.
Recall that from December 1, when the cost of living will increase, some categories of pensioners will increase payments. In particular, we are talking about those who receive the minimum and maximum pension.
