Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who moved to the Catalan capital in February of this year, got into an unpleasant story on a “ridiculous” salary.
According to El Pais, at night, when the football player and his wife were at home, four unidentified people entered their mansion in Castelldefels. The thieves intimidated Pierre-Emerick and his wife with weapons, but, fortunately, it did not come to its use - the spouses only received minor head injuries after being hit with metal bars. As a result, the attackers cleared the footballer’s safe, taking valuables and jewelry with them, and then fled the scene in a white Audi A3.
The Aubameyangs went to the police, but refused hospitalization, so as not to frighten their children even more. In turn, Barcelona provided Pierre-Emerick and his wife with psychological support.
It is noteworthy that this is the second case of the robbery of Aubameyang’s house during performances in Catalonia. A few months ago, thieves also entered the premises and took away the jewelry, but then there was no one in the mansion.
Earlier, FACTS reported that Barcelona newcomer Robert Lewandowski was brazenly robbed at the training base.
