“He covered four brothers with his body”: a paramedic died on the front line

Must read

Oleg Marinchenko, a paramedic with the call sign of an architect, died on the front line. This happened as a result of a direct hit by a large-caliber Russian mine in the dugout, where he was and provided emergency assistance to wounded brothers in arms. It is known that the fighter in the past defended the “Donetsk Airport” and was a chaplain.

“We have lost the Padres. Our dear brother. Our chaplain and takmed, - posted on social media colleague of the deceased Sergei Kostinsky. - During the next mortar shelling, a mine broke through the dugout and fragments claimed his life. He covered with his body and thereby saved the lives of four brothers … At the beginning of the war, he was already seriously wounded. Could not return in the mouth. But responsibility before his brothers, before God did not leave him a choice. A month ago he joined our platoon. This month has become one of us. Closest Friend. Mentor. Doctor. Thanks to him, we began to gather regularly for joint prayer. Before the trip, we also prayed together. His last word before leaving for Eternity was the word “Amen”. He walked away with a smile on his face. Before that, we slept with him in the same dugout after a hard night’s duty. Then they talked for a long time. Then they prayed. We shared coffee and bread. Before the shelling, he came to my post. And that was the last time we saw each other. You’ve become a true friend to me, brother. You reminded me what it means to be a Christian. You bore all the hardships of service on a par with all of us. I cry when I think of you because I lost a close friend. You are a Real Human. You are a Real Servant of the Lord. You were a real warrior. Rest with the saints, brother. Rest in God. You are forever in our hearts. In different divisions, he had a pseudo Architect and a Chaplain. In our platoon, we called him Padre.”

When and where they will say goodbye to the warrior is still unknown.

Earlier reported that one of the best pilots of Ukraine, 30-year-old Major Anton Listopad from Ivano-Frankivsk, died during a combat mission.
