The son of Ukrainian producer, TV presenter and journalist Igor Pelikh, who died in 2009, decided to defend Ukraine from the invaders. Therefore, he entered the First International Special Purpose Company, and after the exercises he went to the front line. Ivan announced this on Instagram.
“Who would have thought that after an almost one and a half year pause between posts, the first photo would be somewhere in the burnt outskirts of the Lugansk region. Hold on”, Ivan wrote, showing photos of burned equipment.
And he added that together with him our state is defended by foreigners.
“Novodruzhesk, Lisichansk, Seversk, Grigorievka and Serebryanka became places for us where we learned how to function as a well-coordinated unit, which includes Ukrainians, Georgians, Belarusians, Americans, Canadians, Swedes, French, British, Taiwanese and New Zealanders,” — Ivan wrote.
May 8, 2009 Igor Pelikh tragically died in an accident that occurred in Kyiv. The TV presenter was only 35. He then had a wife and three small children.
Earlier, the well-known journalist Pavlo Kazarin, who from the first days of the war went to war to defend Ukraine, spoke about front-line everyday life.
