The tragic event took place on July 18 in the village of Mila, according to the police of the Kyiv region.
“A 65-year-old woman, along with a man, went into the forest, where she came across an anti-personnel mine. As a result of the explosion, the victim received numerous bodily injuries. The doctors did everything to save the woman, but, unfortunately, the patient died. For violation of the laws and customs of war, the police launched a pre-trial investigation. Explosives are inspecting the surrounding areas.
Law enforcement officers warn: for now, you should not go into the forest belts and move along field roads in the de-occupied territories.
