Sales platform Shopee has just confirmed that it will close its Polish branch and exit the country. The sea - the owner of the brand - gave customers only until tomorrow. After that, it will close the possibility of placing orders on the platform.
In an entry on the official website, the Shopee Polska platform announced that it intends to immediately cease its e-commerce activities in Poland. Start Friday 1January 3, at 23:59 the possibility of placing new orders will be suspended, and the service will be phased out gradually.

“Orders placed before January 13, 2023 at 11:59 pm will proceed as normal, and support and order processing will remain available to Users who have placed orders on our platform.
The brand, owned by Singapore-based Sea, has been around for just over a year on the Vistula River since its debut in September 2021. During this time, she ran extensive marketing campaigns, eg. with a catchy commercial song or singer Slavomir.
The decision to leave the country in the near future is also very surprising, because there were no signs of this before. Literally at the end of December, Michal Tykarski, one of the directors of Shopee Polska, spoke about the brand’s plans for 2023 in an interview with PAP.
