Millions to Polish football players for reaching the EURO
There is a lot of talk about the Polish national football team today, not only because of sports results. Money could come back to the team thanks to bonuses that will go to the Polish Football Association if Fernando Santos’ players make it to the EURO.
According to the WP SportoweFakty portal, the national team will receive 25 percent of all bonuses that UEFA will pay PZPN in connection with Euro 2024. The promotion for the tournament alone costs 9.25 million euros. Therefore, it can be assumed that 2.31 million will be distributed among the players. These are only the amounts associated with reaching the group stage. Please note that there is an additional fee to participate in the following rounds.
If the Poles enter the EURO and leave the group, they will receive 2 million euros. Quarter-final qualification is estimated at PLN 3.25 million, semi-final - PLN 5 million. The losing European Championship finalist will earn 7 million, while the gold medalist will earn 10 million. The total pool that UEFA will allocate for bonuses to all participants is 371 million euros.

After three matches of the Euro qualification, the Poles have three points. After Thursday’s game against the Faroe Islands, the Santos team will travel to Tirana, where they will face Albania on September 10th.
