Polish volleyball players have their own ambitions. Those after the 2023 VNL Gold go beyond 2019 and 2021 repeats. Nikola Grbic’s players want the Eurowall 2023 final and preferably gold medals. Wilfredo Leon spoke about this in an interview with Interia. The receiver made his debut for the national team at the tournament four years ago and after two bronze medals he wants a better result.
- I already have two, and I think that this number of bronze medals is enough, I don’t need this color anymore. I’m not saying it’s a bad medal, but it would be too much the same. I came here to finally do a job, and that job is to win this tournament. We are on the way, and I would very much like to successfully implement it, - said the Polish representative of Cuba.
