Is this the end of Cesaria Kulesha in PZPN? “Big politics and sponsorship came”

Must read

Cesarius Kulesha’s stay at PZPN is certainly not going the way he imagined. A scandal is a scandal that affects the image of Polish football, the association and the president himself. According to one of the journalists, the work of Zbigniew Boniek’s successor hangs in the balance.

Cesar Kulesza took over as President of the Polish Football Association in August 2021. Right from the start, things don’t go as they should. At first there were problems with the manager, who was Paulo Souza. The Federation managed to emerge from this situation unscathed on very favorable terms.

Numerous scandals during his tenure as President of the Polish Football Association

Then, for a month, they were looking for a coach, who finally became Cheslav Mikhnevich. A scandal also broke out around this decision, because instead of sports, the alleged connections between the coach and the “Hairdresser” were discussed. Over time, it only got worse - a scandal with bonuses and tickets, incomprehensible provisions about a young player, Lewandowski’s bodyguard with a criminal past, and recently a bad connection with Santos, a scandal with Stasiak on a plane chartered by PZPN, and an accusation of one of the sponsors - lists Mariusz Belsky, head of Wprost’s sports department, tweeted.

PR man: This disaster will stick out even from under the thickest carpet

The case is slowly being clarified, because it is already known who invited Miroslav Stasiak, who was convicted in the past for corruption, to the Moldova-Poland match, and in addition, PZPN President Cezariy Kulesha finally spoke and apologized to “all companies cooperating with the PZPN and the Polish national team for the negative emotions and unfounded suspicions that could arise in connection with the whole situation, as well as all the fans of our team.

Przemysław Kasiura, a sports marketing and public relations specialist, admitted in an interview with Wprost that it is hard for him to imagine that Cesar Kuleša will remain in his post.

“This image of disaster will stick out from under even the thickest carpet, or wherever it could be swept up. Sponsors were directly attacked, their trust was undermined, which is unheard of in world football. According to him, it is difficult to come up with an optimistic scenario here.

Journalist: This could be the end of Kulesha in PZPN

Now journalist Rafał Musiol has said that changes may indeed take place in the Polish Football Association soon. The representative of “Dziennik Zachodni” wrote on his Twitter that pressure from above on Cesarii Kulesha is about to begin.

“This could really be the end of Cesari Kulesha in PZPN. As far as I heard, big politics and big sponsors intervened,” he wrote on Twitter.

This whole issue is likely to be resolved in the coming weeks.
