The scandalous episode occurred in the match of the junior championship of Ukraine between the Lviv teams - “Movement”, which was annoyed by the UEFA Youth League from the Italian “Milan” and “Lviv”.
After the first half, the nominal guests sensationally beat the leader of the championship, but in the 79th minute, the Rukhites managed to win back. The score was tied almost until the final whistle, however, in the 90+7th minute, the referee Artem Ochkurenko from Nikopol awarded a penalty to Lvov for hitting the ball into the defender’s hand. One of the fans did not like this decision (according to the Tribuna website, it turned out to be Evgeny Mikhailov, an ex-football player of Lviv, Karpaty and Ternopil Niva, as well as the brother of the president of the Lviv Sports School Roman Mikhailiv), who ran onto the field and strongly hit the referee in the stomach, testing the strength of the press.
However, after the incident, the game continued, and Rukh scored from the penalty spot, winning a hard victory - 2: 1, thanks to which it continues to lead in the standings with a five-point advantage over the second Dynamo Kiev. It should be noted that the strongest junior team of Ukraine next season will represent our country in the UEFA League on the “path of champions”.
