An unusual event occurred in the match between Gornik Zabrze and Legia Warszawa. Rafal Augustyniak lost two teeth in a collision with Anthony van den Hurck, for which the latter received only a yellow card. Artur Jedrzejczyk, the former captain of the Warsaw team, clearly appreciated the decision of Bartosz Frankowski.

It all happened in the second half, right after the Dutchman entered the field. In a theoretically innocuous situation, an unusual collision took place, in which Rafal Augustyniak was badly injured. A player acting as a defender jumped towards an opponent from behind with the intention of taking the ball away from him. Thus, the Gornik player blocked himself in front of the approaching opponent and, by the way, waved his hand so that his elbow hit the Pole in the jaw.

After some time, the cameras showed Avgustynyak, who picked up … his own teeth from the grass. The player ended the match with a medical bandage applied. However, photos and replays showed that the 30-year-old athlete lost the first two matches.

“Now we have a gremlin in the squad. Looks cool, we’ll definitely put something in it, but we don’t know what color yet,” said the leader of Legia Warszawa, known as the biggest joker in the capital team. He said this in front of Canal + Sport cameras immediately after the final whistle.
