Like every year, the Polish national volleyball team will take part in a friendly tournament known as the Hubert Jerzy Wagner Memorial. On February 9, we found out the opponents that Byalo-Chervoni will face. The cast is as strong as ever!
It is an annual tradition that every summer, in addition to competitions in the League of Nations or championships, the Polish volleyball team also takes part in a short but intense friendly tournament organized in our country. Of course, we are talking about the Hubert Jerzy Wagner Memorial. We have just found out the date when it will take place this year, as well as with whom Byalo-Chervoni will compete.

Usually the rivals of the Poles in these competitions were much weaker teams, and matches with them were perceived as training sessions. This time, however, the bet is on a much stronger group of opponents. As we read in the announcement, this time France, Italy and Slovenia will come to Krakow on August 18-20.
Nikola Grbic himself, the coach of the Polish national team, had to insist on such powerful support. - It will be a very difficult test, and these rivals are able to show us in what elements we can improve, what can be done even better, - this is how he justified his approach. Soon after the white and red memorial, he will take part in the European Championship, and later in the qualification for the Olympic Games in Paris.
- There are many indications that if not the same, then very similar teams will compete at the Euro for medals in Italy. This year the Memorial will have its own twist as all the participants are packed full of stars and many of these players play in PlusLiga. They guarantee the highest world level, - admitted Jacek Sak, General Secretary of the Polish Volleyball Association.
